The fastest way to grow your faith is by getting involved in serving others. We do this together with our monthly outreaches and seasonal special events. Click on the CCW Outreach Facebook link below to stay connected with what we are doing. On that page you will be able to stay current on our upcoming outreach activities and learn about what other organizations are doing in our area to make a difference.
We believe that one of the best ways to get involved in our community is to link up with groups that are already hard at work impacting our community. Click on any of the ministry partner logos below to go to their website to learn more.
This page is designed to get you plugged in with the latest and greatest volunteer opportunities in order to make a difference in our community and beyond!
La Casa: This local ministry provides safe, affordable housing for residents of Elkhart County as well as classes on financial management and planning. We participate in their Help-a-House outreach every year.
Habitat for Humanity: This international ministry builds 10-11 houses in Elkhart County every year. We have been involved in their Building on Faith projects and our men's ministry has built sheds for some of the new builds.
RETA: Located in Elkhart, this family resource center supports families facing a pregnancy with education, counseling and many other resources. CCW is currently a satellite location for them so they can reach more families!
Center for Healing and Hope: With 2 locations in Elkhart and one in Goshen, CHH provides urgent healthcare and advocacy to those in need. Doctors, nurses and other volunteers are vital to helping this ministry grow. We encourage you to consider volunteering at one of their clinics.
Salvation Army: This international ministry provides a wide variety of programs and resources to the community including food, utility and prescription medication assistance. We are the official sausage cookers for their annual Pancake Breakfast and adopt 20-30 children for their Christmas Outreach program.
The Window: The Window provides the essential needs of food and clothing for anyone on a limited income. Some of the ways volunteers can help include sorting clothes, serving as host for the food pantry or delivering Meals on Wheels to shut-ins.
Chain Reaction: This local organization promotes bicycling in Goshen. It runs a bicycle repair shop and provides access to bicycles for people with low income.
LoveWay: Located in Middlebury, LoveWay is a therapeutic horse riding center that helps individuals with special needs. We participate in work days at the center and volunteers can also work with the children in the classes that LoveWay offers.
